Bring access into the first conversation
Share the exact property, working entrance, proposed position and contact who can approve it. Note gates, turns, surfaces and planned deliveries that could affect movement. For a changing project, explain which access details may differ by the time the rental starts.
Agree the handoff
Review equipment, timing, supplies and service before confirming. Give the on-site contact the accepted arrangement and explain how changes will be communicated. An online request begins the discussion; it does not confirm a transport appointment or reserve equipment. Call the rental contact for urgent changes to an existing booking.
Make the alternate contact useful
An alternate should know the approved equipment area, entrance and accepted booking details, not simply be available by telephone. Give them the provider contact and a way to obtain a placement decision. If they need to change the plan, have the responsible parties confirm it instead of improvising a new location on arrival.
- Approved placement and working entrance
- Accepted equipment and visit details
- Route for agreeing a change
